Volunteers
We operate a flexible roster within an office at Community House from 9:00am to 3:00pm Monday to Friday. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer, then please CLICK HERE
We also manage drivers for Meals On Wheels in the Alexandra area. Meals On Wheels volunteers typically deliver meals once every 3 or 4 weeks, picking up the meals which are provided by Dunstan Hospital at Community House. This takes about an hour, so if you’d like to apply for a volunteer role with Meals On Wheels, then please CLICK HERE
Community Advice coordinates volunteer drivers who pick up members of the community that do not have access to a vehicle or public transport, and drive them to medical appointments, library, banks etc. in Alexandra and Clyde in return for a small donation. This operates Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm. If you’d like to become a volunteer driver, please CLICK HERE
